Bazous processes the Auth0 sign-in identity, household members, balances, income, obligations, uploaded files, the information you choose to give for the expert questions (health insurance premium, latest tax statement, pillar 3 contributions, contract end dates) and the records of operations the service needs. This data is used for authentication, for the extraction you request and for calculating forecasts. Authorised household members share its data according to their role. When you ask Bazous to read a bill, the capture is sent to the extraction provider configured by the operator, OpenAI or Anthropic. If you connect Bazous to ChatGPT or to Claude, OpenAI or Anthropic receives the parameters of the calls to the Bazous tools and their results in order to answer your requests; these results may contain the authorised household’s financial data. Bazous receives only those parameters: it never receives your conversations, your prompts or your assistant’s memory, and it does not use your data to train any model. You can disconnect Bazous from ChatGPT or Claude at any time in their settings. No connected bank account is required. On bazous.com, the application runs on FastAPI Cloud in region us-east-1 (United States) and application data is stored with Supabase in region eu-west-1 (Ireland). Cloudflare relays requests and Auth0 handles sign-in. Documents and financial data are kept until explicitly deleted. The owner can export the household and delete it; each person can delete their Bazous account. Deleting a file keeps the obligations already recorded. Invitations expire after 7 days and are purged after 30 days; deletion receipts are kept for 30 days. Backups may keep deleted data until they expire, according to the operator’s policy. The Auth0 identity is managed separately. Contact the operator for any request for access, correction or deletion, and to find out how long its backups are actually kept.
